The church in Bagot, Northern Territory is now known as Joinimap Faiya Ministries Inc (JFM). The Bagot Advisory Council and Yilli Rreung Housing Aboriginal Corporation have both acknowledged and accepted Joinimap Faiya Ministries Inc. as the first official church of Bagot Community in October 2019.
Joinimap Faiya Ministries Inc (JFM) is an indigenous initiative, chosen by a community of Christians and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Joinimap Faiya pronounced in Kriol as "join 'em up fire" meaning to gather and unite a calling to "come together you ministers of fire!" It's also a shout to join in and get fired up! It stages revival. JFM started in the Bagot community in Darwin, NT and the fire is now spreading across Australia.
As God was graciously moving the people in Bagot towards repentance, reconciliation and unity, it was deemed necessary to put together a core ministry team which the majority is made up of the residents - a multitude of counsellors individually bearing the potential of becoming ministers of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our core ministry team will represent the various ministries operating in Bagot community, of which some are yet to be revived. Joinimap Faiya Ministries Inc envisage the further training of these ministry teams.
The community of Bagot also appreciates the previous and on going support of other ministries. Any other Christian ministries that seeks to further the Kingdom of God are also welcome.
As the body of Christ walks together in unity, ministries will continue to flourish under the counsel and leading of the Holy Spirit.
